Welcome to the TCA, the BCU TOP CLUB and SPORT ENGLAND CLUBMARK accredited canoe and kayak club for South East Cornwall.

Whether you are a newcomer to the sport or someone with experience, the TCA offers the opportunity to experience the joys of canoeing in a friendly club atmosphere. Members range in age from 8 to 60+ so we cater for all.

We are based at Brunel Green, Saltash, Cornwall, where we have two boat sheds full of Kayaks and Canoes (including Sea Kayaks and Canadian Canoes) for use by members on club nights and organised events. We operate under British Canoe Union guidelines, so all club activities are supervised by qualified instructors and buoyancy aids are always worn. We provide BCU Star training, in both Canoes and Kayaks with the Paddlepower scheme for our younger paddlers.

During the summer we meet at 6.45pm on Thursday evenings from April to October for a social paddle. These club nights offer a variety of activities; including skills coaching, kayak polo, sprint racing, seal launching or trying out different types of boats. At weekends there are trips on various estuaries and coastlines around the region. Throughout the winter, the TCA run a number of Whitewater River Trips on the Dart, Lyner and Tamar. We also offer 'Swimming Pool Courses' which allow members the chance to practise skills in the safety and warmth of a local pool. We are now also able to offer Kayak Surfing activities throughout the year..
